Heartworm Prevention - Heartworm in a mosquito transmitted disease of dogs (an occasionally cats) which is now easily prevented by an annual injection or monthly tablets. Heartworm infestation can be treated but it caused permanent damage to the dogs heart. Annual injections can now commence from 12 weeks old.

Internal Parasite - It is a very easy for a pet to get worms, so a regular prevention program using an effective wormer that kills all the infested worms such as roundworm, hookworm, whipworm and tapeworm, is recommended quarterly.

Veterinary Specialist Dietary Needs - Modern premium quality foods provide the optimum nutrition for all life stages can help manage or treat many diseases and conditions.

Yearly or Triennial Vaccinations - Dogs - Dogs should be vaccinated against 5 major infections. Distemper, Infections canine Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza and Bordatella Bronchiseptica.

Triennial vaccines are in components. Year 1  requires Distemper, Hepatitis and Parvovirus - this component lasts 3 years. However Parainfluenza and Bordatella Bronchiseptica.component lasts only one year and would require annual vaccination.

Annual vaccines -one vaccination each year that covers all components against Distemper, Infections canine Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza and Bordatella Bronchiseptica.

Puppies need a course of vaccines to initialise immunity.

Yearly Vaccinations - Cats - Cats should be vaccinated against cat flu and Feline Enteritis and can also be vaccinated against Feline Leukaemia virus and Feline Aids.

Dental Checkups - They say that one year in a dogs life is worth 7 human years. Imagine not brushing your teeth for 7 years! It is no wonder dental disease is very common in pets - even those that chew bones Dental disease is a leading cause of illness in pets and can lead to kidney failure, septicaemia dna other infections. Get you pets teeth cleaned!

Flea Prevention and Tick Advice - Fleas are the most common cause of skin disease in dogs and cats and are everywhere your pet goes. Talk to us about flea prevention because a flea infestation will take months to control. Read more>

Ticks - The paralysis tick is one of the greatest life threatening dangers to your pet in this area. Talk to us about tick identification and prevention. If your pet shows any of the following symptoms contact us immediately.

Senior Health Checks - Pets age quicker than people and things start to wear out. We offer senior health checks which includes full physical examination, blood biochemistry, thyroid test and urine test.
